The Manager's Handbook has been updated, though it is subject to additional changes prior to the season.

Winter Meeting Set For March 7th

The first preseason meeting in preparation for the 2010 season is scheduled for Sunday, March 7th at 3:00 p.m. The event will be held at IDK Bar & Grill. Among the topics to be discussed:

• Rules changes
• The need for additional umpires
• Hosting the Rec I mens state tournament
• Preliminary alignment of league nights

Managers are required to be in attendance, but all players may attend.

Free nachos will be made available for those in attendance.

League meeting announcements expected soon

A board meeting will be held on Sunday, February 14th in preparation for the 2010 season. We hope to have solidified a time, date and location for our March league meeting by then. Once we have that information, we will post it on JamestownSoftball.com.

Wednesday night league night for July 29th has been cancelled. Too much rain too fast around 6:00 soaked the diamonds.

With only minor showers throughout the day and a window of opportunity between storms this evening, our Monday night games are still on at this time.

July tournaments

The tournaments scheduled for July 18 and 19 have been cancelled.

Thursday night games for June 18th have been cancelled due to rain. The fields are soaked and there's plenty of standing water on the infields.
